[MOD/Script] Complete CPU Control -8/15-

This is a script that allows complete control over your cpu. Within the script you can directly edit max cpu speed, min cpu speed, change governors, set up_threshold, set sampling max and sampling min and set ignore nice load.

The only drawback is the settings get cleared once you restart your device so you have to run the script again. Doesn't matter for me my phone is on all the time. I will be working on a way to make the settings stick.

There is a readme included in /data/local i suggest reading it before using the advanced settings. Or see the text file source here

I'm not going into details here but it's pretty simple to get the hang of the advanced settings and using them can save battery or speed up your device.

To run the script simply open a terminal emulator and enter:
"su" (without the quotes)

"ccc" (without the quotes)

Follow the onscreen instructions.

This script does not use any daemon or rely on any app. If you use setcpu or something similar it will simply overwrite these settings.

How does your script differ from what is accomplished by the OC Daemon? What advantages or disadvantages are there to using the script as opposed to the OC Daemon?

It just allows more settings to be changed. Basically gives you more control over the cpu, which can be good or bad depending on what you change them to.

I like the daemon idea and want to try making my own, the virtuous daemon is pretty awesome i just wanted more control. But theirs is good cause the settings stick cause of the daemon running.

Smokin you need to write a script for the/ system/ etc/init.d folder to make it stick on reboot. Do some research on that. That folder will run those scripts on reboot.

Yea i know, i have made a few. I want it customizable though i made a better script with alot more in it. I will post it up tomorrow i'm too tired to mess with it.

It has alot more functionality and is gonna be called AIO Script. Bedtime...

Is this Only for the 3D?

The script will work for any device but the zip will only work for the 3d. Just open the zip and navigate to /system/etc/init.d and copy the ccc file to your device then move or push it to /system/etc/init.d. It will work as long as you have init.d enabled.
