[Q] super help for the noob please?

Hey everyone. I'm back to android from my iPhone 4 and have 1001 questions about rooting and such. google and the search tool haven't been my friend except for fixing the whole, not sending mms cause my numbers have )'s in them.
If anyone could send me an email or a fb thingy and be my noob buddy I'd greatly appreciate it.
I used to be good at android but that was when the droid first first came out. I've been with iOS 5 betas for the last few months so i'm not a tard just out of the loop.

If you are rooting, check out SuperOneClick. This is what I used to root my Infuse. You'll need to download Samsung Kies, and of course, follow the instructions.

Loading ROM's is another matter. You'll need 3e recovery, and then ROM Manager to get CWM. After that, download the zip of the ROM onto your phone, and flash it from CWM. Their are instructions on how to do this on all publicly available ROM releases the infuse has so far, along with Q&A threads if you run into any issues.

One note: ALWAYS BACKUP.
