Default How to get on GummyCharged GBE 1.9RC2.3 with lagfix/EXT4

If you are on ee4 with lagfix enabled you can skip to step 2

1. Download GummyCharged FE 1.9.1 full Odin (yes the froyo version) and flash that via Odin
2. Ensure lagfix is enabled via voodoo controls or term (if it is not use voodoo control to enable lagfix)
3. Download the EP1Q radio's and flash them via Odin
4. Download GummyCharged GBE 1.9RC2.3 and install it via CWM (make sure you wipe data)

Flashed this last night and used it all day today. It's lightning fast and flawless!

I'm a little confused.

So I'm on currently on GummyCharged 1.9RC1 without Voodoo installed. It's not disabled, it's just not even installed. When upgrading to 1.9RC2, does it already come with Voodoo or EXT4 file system? Or it just supports it now?

So bottom line, after flashing RC2 do I need to flash either Voodoo or Nameless?

no it just supports it, it will not convert to ext4 for you so you need to follow the steps he listed to get it...

edit: also do not flash anything voodoo over this, only froyo kernels are voodoo'd...

Currently on RC1. Executing this procedure as we speak. Just flashed FE 1.9.1. I presume when I go into voodoo control, I should convert partitions and system as well... I hope so. That's what I'm about to do.

Well, got it all done. Wow GBE 1.9RC2.3 flashed fast in cwm... Here goes the first full boot. Fingers crossed.

Sweet. It looks like it worked! Voodoo Control does not report, but doing a 'mount' in terminal showed data, dbdata, cache and system are all ext4.

You guys (Kejar, Imnuts and TeamGummy) are AMAZING!

Now rocking Ginger 2.3.4 via GummyCharged 1.9RC2.3 with lagfix enabled.
