What were you in High School?

What were you in High School? These were my High School "labels". Class of 1982

1. Jock
2. Nerd/Geek
3. Popular/Sosh (The Popular Crowd)(Socialite)
4. Surf Rat
5. Prep ( Preppie: They wore LaCoste, At-Ease, Plaid, Top Siders, Sweater over shoulders)
6. Punk
7. Drama ( I forgot what they called people in Drama?)
8. Loner
9. Partier (Always ready to "Party")
10. Stoner
11. Poser ( kids who wanted to belong to a certain clique, but did not quite fit)
12. Rocker
13. Clown/Jokester

I was a Punk which sadly at the time also made you a Loner... plus I was a closet Geek. Only class I passed was computer science.

In '82 i was 9 years old, so i had nothing!

In later years i went from 'Nerd/Geek' to 'Loner', then tidied up my act and transitioned to 'Jock', (spent a lot of time in the gym), then realised i was big and intimidating enough to beat the crap out of all the 'Popular' kids so didn't feel the need to join them...went through a short 'Preppie' phase where i understood fashion and nobody would dare take the piss... and then moved quickly to 'Partier', a phase that lasted well into my late twenties!

Now i'm a laid-back, philosophical and peaceful friend of the earth! I've slipped back to 'Loner' as my default position but i don't feel the need for labels anymore. I'm happy and content.

The Dude abides....!!
