I still have a little less than a year on my contract but will probably be switching to uscc as well. I like Verizon and their selection of Android phones, but just don't get that great of coverage where I need it the most. Got a couple friends with uscc and they have always had good coverage no matter where we are at. May just be this area but as long as it works I am happy. I know I will be taking a hit in data speeds but for the most part I am always around wifi so that isn't as big of a deal as having reception. Be interested to see what kinds of phone will be out in a year.

Default NFC

I am concerned that the Vigor apparently does not have NFC. In 2-1/2 years from now, do you really want to have a phone without NFC? Problem is, I need a new phone sooner rather than later, and have NO interest in anything made by Samsung or Motorola. Sigh.

NFC just seems like a feature I'd never use. I feel comfortable using my cards and tacking on this feature would just be extra. Now inductive charging, that's something I'd use.

I'm getting a Droid 3 most likely.

Primary reason, I've found I cannot take a virtual keyboard. This was my first phone without a keyboard, I am okay with it, but there are moments that it drives me up a wall.

This phone did teach me that I don't necessarily need a huge screen. While a 4.3" doesn't sound bad, I would be much more comfortable with a 4" screen (A la Droid 3).

Finally, the Droid 3 is still young and the rom development has already started. I'm excited to join a development community from the start (I joined the Incredible community just this last June )

Default Who Knows

Who knows what will be out when my contract is up for renewal. I am sure that it will be something worth waiting for. I am still very happy with my Incredible, and also thankful the good amount of ROM cookers out there for this phone.

Not sure yet. Got my dinc in May to replace my OG droid so I could run gingerbread roms, which it was struggling with. Have an upgrade available, but I also being off-contract.
I was initially thinking vigour, but now I'm thinking the Nexus due to it's presumed openness and likely large Dev support.
Now if verizon screws with it, and doesn't leave it as a true nexus device, I'll either pick up a t-bird or maybe bionic for cheap or jump ship to sprint.

Once you get a taste of LTE you'll probably vanquish the thought of moving to Sprint. I'll tell you what... LTE is a HELL of a lot more useful than Gingerbread.
Current: Newt's One XxX 6.0.3, Snuzzo's latest.

I have until end of next july with my incredible. Then I'm going to look at what is the best a the moment and get that. I'm going to try the best buy buy back program too. Then maybe I can a new phone every few months.
