Can someone give me detailed instructions on how to install the miui one?

Extract MIUIcamera.apk from MIUI and push it to /system/app then install.

How do I "push" it?

Either use adb command, our use root explorer to cut/ paste it there

In root explorer I cut and pasted it but it says it wont install. And I don't know.how to push it.

... from my experience (as I had wanted MIUI Camera on a different ROM), this app will only work on the MIUI ROM. Too bad, as it is an awesome camera. If anyone else has had success installing on a non-MIUI ROM, please contribute to this thread...

I actually got it to work. I even found one with the ffc working.

A lot of AOSP apks work on other AOSP roms. Glad you got it working.
Just fyi, adb push is essentiall the same as cut/paste in root explorer, it just saves a ton of time if you're comfortable using adb.
The code to push is: adb push ./"name of app.apk" /system/app (if it's a system app)

I bet he just fixed the permissions on the apk, and then it worked.

Hmm. isn't that simple apparently.

@times. Actually the APk I had was the thing that wasn't working. I had to get a different one.
