And can run at 864 fine no problems, but Im pretty sure at 864 it will reduce the life of this phone dramatically.

The phone gets pretty hot at 806 with high use, and heat is a CPU and memory's worst enemy.

So anyone planning on overclocking so high just bear this in mind!
Hi m8,
I`m using this latest build of CM with the kerner a few coments before on 864mHz with no battery drain or battery heat. I suggest you to get back to stock recovery , get the latest official update , witch will update radios and etc. and then get back to CWM recovery and CM .This will fix all of your problems
Ofcourse my phone is unlocked via XTC Clip so I dont have trouble doing that. Dont know what will happen otherwise.

Oh cool. Because flashing CM7 on other smartphones usually includes a CM7 radio/baseband/modem. If the radio stays the same on the HTC Wildfire S (due to not including a radio in the flashable zip), then I'll be able to flash it onto my mother's Wildfire S and fix her battery issues.

sorry mate I don't understand what you mean, I have the latest radio

MARVEL PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT-1.09.0099
MICROP-0451
RADIO-7.57.39.01M

and my phone has no problems running at 864, I was just warning that I would feel uncomfortable running my phone at that speed daily, it will definately reduce its life due to heat and other factors.

When phone usage is high any phone will get hot and even more so while charging, also the battery is contributing factor.
HTC Wildfire S s-off running cm9
HTC Sensation s-off running cm10.1
HTC Desire C DeSensed running @828MHz
HTC One X MaximusHD 21.3.0 lyapota kernel#23 undervolted

I just say we need to agree between us (make a poll or dunno what) what ppl use most (5-10, whatever number we get agreement) so you can put those into kernel and yippie, every1 is happy

3 is few and 20 is too much, that's just my opinion
I also think that 10 the most popular governors will be enough

Meh, I kind of like the approach at the moment. You've got the minimalist default and then you've got an option with all the governers you could possibly want. And it's not like you've going to be switching between them every half-hour, so why does it matter if the list is made up of 10 or 20?

eoghan m8 run on the next elections please...im sure u will at least get in parlament considering howmany ppl you managed to spoiled here by always giving what they ask.... seriosly ppl would love to vote for that type of representative.
HOWMANY IS ENOUGH? I say that many as you get...leave the guy alone and sing happy songs whenever u get as many as 4 governors.
oh btw...i too beilive that 8.3 is the right number
