[Q] XTC Clip - Is it really possible?

I've been thinking about buying a XTC Clip in Denmark and was wondering if it really was possible to unlock your bootloader (wich is 1.0+) with this magical Clip of hope? Is it easier to S-OFF with hardware than with software?

why do you want s-off?
at this moment you Can't software s-off an htc legend with hboot 1.0+ (and i think it never will)
and talking about xtc clip, i have no experience in that but i think you can downgrade your hboot with it (dont blame me if you cant)

So i can dualboot my Legend.. But why is that important?

Just a few days ago, I used an XTC Clip to S-OFF my HBOOT 1.01 Legend.
It works just fine.
