Hey everyone! I have recently obtained an EVO Shift and will be making lots of how to videos for it! I do see there are a lot of written guides, but no videos. I did make many how to videos for the Samsung Epic and I got such a wonderful response from everyone, I figured I would expand to different devices.

I sure can.. can you give me a little information on the benefits of doing this? I'm not too familiar with what changing it will do for people.

I believe one of the recent prl updates lost 3G data when roaming. Only reason I see to swap prl, at least for me..

Well with sprint they have 2 separate PRL lines, being able to go to the business prl or an older national one is pretty nice. Especially since sprint roaming currently sucks

Hell yes . Great idea, vids are sometimes easier to follow. At least for me that is .

What about a Shift that is on 2.3.3. I just got my mother a Shift Sunday and it's on 2.3.3. I've been looking for a way to root it but not sure of the best way. Can someone please help?

Currently there is only temporary root for 2.3... that means when you reboot you will lose root access.

What's the best method for temp root/ I have the evo 3d and we had different methods. I don't know much about the shift. Can someone hook me up with a link?
