Default [Q] Update 1.0.1 and Rooted Nook

Hi, I've asked this before within a thread and didn't get any reply so here we go... I just installed the B&N update for the Nook Touch, and it works. For those of you who have also updated does it revert the rom back to stock (I'm hoping it does)?

did you manually update or ota update? if you did it manually how did you do it?
when i tried to manually update on my rooted nook it just restarts but doesn't install.
i don't live in the states, so i'm not sure if i'll get ota update

In dos/linux/macOS or whatever OS you're using that you have the android SDK installed and can use adb.
