WIFI Tethering / Hotspot ?????

Has anyone got WIFI tethering / Hotspot to work on the Triumph?

1. root the phone. (Gingerbreak 1.2, see forums here for other options)
2. download barnacle
3. start barnacle, disable wpa_supplant
4. set laptop to 1472 MTU or less.

Has anyone figured out how to do this with an iPad2? I can get the iPad to see the Triumph with Barnacle enabled, but still have the problem of only getting through to Google sites.

I'm getting the issue that some other have had where I can only access Google domains. Any workaround for this?

Thanks, I had tried this in the past but I could not get it to work. The part that I was missing was the "disable wpa_supplant". Now it is working...

The problem is the MTU. If you can't change it on the iPad you're hosed.

The most comprehensive answer to that I've found so far is

I'm working on a quick app you can download/run to do that, but in the mean time you'll have to follow the instructions. PM me or something if you want a beta
