I notice in the thread for the HD2 that they have a _LOT_ of config settings in the GPS.conf for each zone. I'm pretty sure that we could generalize down to the NTP Pool for whichever country, but how about the rest of the servers? I'm pretty sure I can't (or shouldn't be able to) reach the T-Mobile SUPL address from a Verizon account (That and it probably wouldn't help since T-Mobile is GSM and not CDMA, so completely different towers). I also noticed that most of the extra config stuff was missing from this post's versions

So would most of those other config lines in the GPS.conf from the HD2 thread help or hinder? Does having more than one NTP_SERVER host line actually just add extra servers to the queue cycle or does it overwrite the setting in memory?
Lots of questions, and I haven't found any really helpful documentation in the Android SDK on the gps.conf (only on calling for location data). If we could make region/country specific ones that have some of the other additions (extra AGPS data specific to carrier, or other goodies)... then that would make a nice update to these generic versions of the config files that the HD2 crowd has made for their phone.

Probably because your /system partition is not mounted, to do this go to Mounts and Storage -> mount /system and try again.
The thanks button doesn't bite, try it!

Hi.

Sorry about my noobiness, I forgot that.

But it failed anyway with "status 0"

I've then toggled signature verification on an retried, and it says "signature verification failed" and " Installation aborted"

Is it normal to fail the signature verification if on?
