Is there a way to make it work with US T-Mobile 3G? Would custom ROM do the trick or is it hardware that does not support TM 3G band?

I am dying to get this puppy. Any pointers?

No, the phone doesn't have the right bands for T-Mobile US. It's either you live with EDGE or you wait for their variant.

Thanks. I need 3/4g so I guess have to wait for US release.

Any ideas when it may happen and for which career(s)?

Announcement is on the 29th, the rest of the information of when it will be release will follow after that. Most likely the phone will be released around September on Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile soon following.

I just got Hot spot for my phone (tmobile usa), because get tired of edge

and I will never gonna buy US release...(just because tegra2)
+ better wait Nexus 3

Why bother with this phone when running on Edge? Or who cares about tegra 2 or nexus 3? All I need is a next gen phone with awesome vibrant shape and same it better screen. And that is S2. I am not gonna wait cause I might get older enough to start using dumb phone again with quarter size keypad buttons. Get a life!

Nexus 3 will bring to us ICECREAM !...better wait, the phone almost here...I will sell my SGS2 for sure !
