SMS and Sync issues

1) while replying to an SMS, the display jumps to the first message in the thread while I am typing. The only work around I have right now is exit the edit mode, to the message I am writing as draft, then go back into SMS writing mode again to continue.

2) recently my pc started to complain it cannot mount/unmount the SD Card to sync (outlook) calendar. What's the issue here? The phone can see the SD car.

Seems there is no new sw patch from HTC on #1 above.

Anyone know how to fix the issues?

hear about that on my desire z, there was firmware issue. do you have latest firmware? if yes, try to mail to HTC.

And how common is this issue?

no fixes, so just have to live with the two problems.

seems the sms jump is a common problem. There is another thread on unofficial ROM/leak and people in the thread also wonder if it fixes the sms jump problem.

mine should be the latest software version 1.21.xx.
