Hey Guys,

can someone explain how to update this ROM to 7740 with internetsharing for nonfacebook users? Cause I really dislike facebook.

dont hold your breath with that, battery controller driver is not correct, there may be ways of reducing the load on the battery but the incorrect readings are here to stay....probably!

top tip, restart your device, charge it over night, in morning restart it again, and finally give it another charnge, that should fill it up. Quite often you will find that WP says battery is full when it isnt, which is potentially one of the reasons some people have huge battery drainage issues. like wise WP might say its about to die, but a quick restart may give you an extra 30%

Sorry, I need help to unlock and format my microSD after WP7
I've installed HD2_Updatable_XBmod_Yuki_v2_native.zip
Upgraded with Zune to 7.0.7392 right now.
CARD IS WORKING PERFECTLY IN WP7
I have try placing DEV_STORAGELOCK into W7 Cab Sender on my W7x64 but receive this error: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID 77CB935D-4249-8643-3C387A514A27 failes due to the following error: 80040154 Call stack: at Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DeviceUpdate.DeviceManager .Initialize....
What's wrong?
I've also try Fdisk, KillDisk,etc.. on Linux and UBCD, they show partition but not formatting.
SD Formatter in Windows says drive is not compatible.
Also tryed Mass Storage Device in MAGLDR menu but no drive is shown in Windows nor on Disk Management.
Please help how to or redirect me on

I might be wrong, but try sending DEV_UNLOCK.cab then send DEV_STORAGELOCK.cab
I think your ROM has become locked.

Thx for quick reply, I understand I probably missed something or done wrong.
I did RESET from SETTING/ABOUT/Reset your phone and did POWER+VolUP+VolDown HARD RESET
I did try your suggestion sending DEV_UNLOCK.cab but it errors.
Then I did try sending DEV_UNLOCK_REMOVE.cab but is errors.
I am using Update Cab Sender 4.8.2345.0 though is it ok? Link on first page is dead so I've found it on megaupload google searching

it should be in sequence DEV_UNLOCK_REMOVE.cab then DEV_UNLOCK.cab then DEV_STORAGELOCK.cab.

SOLUTION WAS:

Make new folder on different drive than system so my case:
D:\
folder name wp7_update_cab_sender
extract there all files
Make WP7 Update Cab Sender.bat run in compatibility Windows XP SP3
send DEV_UNLOCK.cab
send DEV_STORAGELOCK.cab
Boot Windows Phone 7 and run app. unlocker to unlock sd card
remove card and insert in card reader
use FDISK - Select correct partition
Clean
Then in Disk management card can be finally formatted to FAT32 or else.

Don't know if my bit helped but glad you got it sorted

now on the re-charge does it have to be done straight away or can it give about an hour or so to get back on for the second charge due the fact I take it to work.

I just noticed that if you long press green call button it brings up the audio command screen
