[Q] Factory Reset with new webOS account

Hey all, I tried searching and found nothing here... Looked through the user manual and found some instructions at a site here:

(sorry, not allowed to post links yet so take out the spaces for reference)

I haven't tried anything yet. Basically I'm getting a second-hand hp touchpad. Naturally I want to wipe it clean and factory reset it. However in reading I saw in the aforementioned instructions that you shouldn't put in a new WebOS account. Naturally I don't have an account so I was wondering if anyone knows if I should put in a new account or how to make an account to basically start fresh.

When you do a full master reset it will ask you to sign in or create a new account... doesn't hurt anything. Have done it twice and countless times on my Pres.

Was working on my Touchpad and came to a problem, my device locked up and stopped responding. After some toying around trying to get it to reboot figured out how to do a hard reboot of it.

Press and hold the power button and the center button simultaneously for 5 seconds.
