just got this case...its pretty cool although it would have been much better to have a touchpad on the keyboard itself...I guess I need a usb splitter

No, it won't allow you to rotate the Thrive. The clip that holds the tablet in the case prevents the use of the headphone jack. I plan to drill a hole through the clip so I can easily use the jack at the library.
