Default [Q] how can i root HTC GRATIA?

Is there any way rooting HTC Gratia without an xtc clip?

Rom Build= 4.0.2.A.0.42
Kernel= DoomKernel v11

X10 Mini Pro U20i Rooted
Rom = eXTREMIA V1
Rom Build= eXTREMIA V1 2.3.7
Kernel= 2.1.1.A.0.6

Huawei Ideos U8150 Rooted
Rom=eXTREMIA 2.3.7 V1
Rom Build=V1
Kernel= Multitouch Kernel

Yes. First you will need to use this tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1133446

Next you need to use this to S-OFF and install custom recovery to your phone: http://revolutionary.io/ (this was formerly known as AlphaRevX)

Please keep in mind that there is not currently a known method to return to S-ON.

No, the only way is to follow the steps that have been outlined for you.

Not if you read and follow instructions carefully. Also, I don't see how anyone could manage to brick their device using this method (if they follow instructions).

Well, I have not heard about anyone bricking their device using this method, so if you do manage to brick it, I'm sure you definitely did something wrong which no one can be blamed for other than yourself.

looks like the site for generate Goldcards is down. does any1 know if it ever coming back?

or do we need to find another way to update the hboot for rooting?

You could try using the tool linked here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1052063 to create the goldcard.
