Default BootManager

Has anyone tried Bootmanager on their Aria/Liberty yet?

I purchased and installed it, but it asked for parameters I was unable to provide.

I'm going to necro this thread, because I'm curious if anyone else has tried bootmanager, with or without success?

We've actually had something similar to this for the aria before. It didn't allow booting different roms but it followed a similar concept by creating a /system partition on the sd card ext partition for a psuedo s-off. It actually worked quite well. Its the same basic concept but on a larger scale so I see no reason why it wouldn't work well. I'm gonna assume you'll need a decent sd card though to avoid lag. Its basically just putting the whole OS on the sd as opposed to internal memory so you're gonna want a fast sd card.

From what I've gathered, a C6 or higher is recommended. I don't see any real reason it shouldn't work on the Aria.

So... would anyone happen to know those parameters to enter in manually for Bootloader then...?

Device: Liberty
Sdcard block: this I have no idea.
System: 240
Data: 185
Cache: 40

I'm assuming the Sd block would be /sdcard or /sd-ext. But I honestly have no idea on that one and can't find any documentation on manual settings for the app.

has the Desire HD's sdcard block as "/dev/block/mmcblk1p1". Does that shed any light on what that setting is searching for?

Sure does. I'm not sure if it's the same in all Roms but running cm7 I've got /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.2/

From there I have 3 possibilities:
mmcblk0
mmcblk0p1
mmcblk0p2

Time for A little trial and error. Ill update after I give those a go.

Thanks for that info seboj.
