[Q] App for when mounted to dashboard?

Hi all. I'm heading out Thursday morning on a road trip to visit family in KY. I managed to squeeze my DS7 into my standard phone mount (vent style) the other day which got me wanting to use it during the trip. My question is: can anyone suggest a "carhome" style app for the DS7 (or tablets in general)? Anyone had any good experiences with anything? Or should I just rip "carhome" (or what ever it's called) out of my NS4G and call it good?

Opinions welcome. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I tried ripping the carhome.apk and .odex file from my NS4G and copying them to the DS7 (system\app), but they won't install.
