[Q] Wifi disables immediately (CM7, Optimus 2X)

I've just got hold of an Optimus 2X.

I rooted it and flashed CM7.1 RC1 on it with ROM Manager.

(Before I did this the wifi was working with the stock rom)

The wifi will enable but then instantly disable. I then flashed it with the latest nightly and it still didn't work.

Then I flashed the vork kernel and that didn't do anything either.

Is there anything else I can try? Mobile data seems to work ok.

EDIT: I checked the advanced wifi settings and it says the Mac address is unavailable. Is that right?

Sorted now. Think it was because I restored setttings from 2.3.5 to a 2.3.4 build. Started again with the nightly and now it works fine.
