iOS port to Touchpad

All we hear is about Honeycomb port to Touchpad.
How about we just port iOS? Is anyone working on that yet?

That would never happen because apple doesn't release the source code for ios.

Your only hope is for a MIUI port

People port Android to any and all devices because it is open source. For example there was a project to port webOS to the HTC Hero, but it go shut down very quickly as it is illegal, as porting iOS to any device would be.

Never going to happen and I'm glad. The last thing I want is to be locked down into Apples ecosystem of hell. Even if we could get iOS we are still depended on itunes which I REFUSE to touch with a 10 foot pole. I liked apple until they started shoving itunes down our throat and thats when I decided to never buy another apple product again.

Apple IOS and all their other OS for their PC suck and all under the veil that it protects you from viruses.....

I got one of the WebOs and I have to say that I am very impressed, I really think if HP would have had a better CEO they could have given Apple a run for their money. And the fact that their is no itunes and that all you have to do to move files is drag and drop from any pc....SWEEEEET.
I also have a droid 2.2 Apad, what a piece of crap is that OS they are at least 3 Gen from apple or WebOs.

The mistake was to try to go head to head in their price against Apple, you first have to prove you are as good or better than the leader, and the only way you will do that is with a low price, that way people buy it try it and recomend it. (Apple laptop starting at $1000, Acer same specs or better $350, enoug said)
