I haven't tested if this is really the case, but maybe you simply have to much dust inside the headphone plug I once had that as the reason

new release is up, i've only updated to latest commits (forgot to update the changelog in AROMA again, don't worry...it's still up to date)

Updated without issues on my iffy DZ, don't know if it's because I'm using 4ext or not. Always had problems flashing stuff with Rom manager, but with 4ext it took 15 minutes and booted up to the homescreen, awesome!.
