Talking Mugen 1800mAh Battery Review

So, finally my order just arrived ... And its on the first charge right now and immediately I can feel that the heat is only 50% as compared to the stock battery. Also, 80-100% charging seems to be taking long (maybe trickle charge) ..

Will update this post after fully charged and first discharge till 50% ... should give an early estimate since I know my stock one's capacity .. and this is normal discharge, not killing it by running everything everywhere!

My Setup - Stock 2.3.4 ROM (Only Clockwork & Rooted without any special tweaks)

UPDATE 1 - First Full Charge and Discharge to 50%

It reached around 52% in 19+ Hours with following setup :
* Push Exchange for Gmail
* Facebook 1 Hr Pull
* LinkedIn 1 Hr Pull
* 3 Calls ~ 20 mins total
* Music listening around 20 mins in transit
* I have network on WCDMA Only with 3G/H always On (No WiFi use)

Image below was taken before it reached 50%

Result : The same use I do daily on the official batt and I would be around 45% ... so I am happy at the moment.

Now going for Round 2 of Discharge...will update later
Current Devices : HTC One, iPhone 5
Retired : HTC Diamond2, HTC HD2, HTC Sensation XE, HTC Sensation XL 16GB, Motorola Razr, Galaxy S2, Galaxy Note, Xperia S, Xperia V, HOX+, HTC Butterfly, Galaxy S4

2 thumbs up for this battery! Ive had mugen 2600mah and the official htc 2300 extended battery for my hd2. Mugen does make top notch batteries. I went with the 1800mah this time because i didnt want to replace the case due to the internal antenna built within the stock cover.
Getting to the point now. I use coredroid 2.4 with bricked kernal 0.91.
I use my phone for tethering wirelessly to my laptop. I usually always tether at work for about almost 7 hours. When i ran my phone using the stock battery at full charge, i would be at 14-18% at the endof my shift. Since using the mugen 1800 i noticed my phone lasts much longer significantly. When i tether using the mugen im left at 37-40% by end of shift. This is really good imo because tethering drains the battery down pretty quick since it uses excessive amounts of data.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the feedback
Not bad at all especially with intensive use as tethering.
And is the temperature indication is working properly?
And if there are other feedback please
Thanks!

Ive got a Mugen 1800mah battery as well as the dock.

I have to say its a placebo mate, its not a better battery in fact when tested at fully charged its 1410mah not 1800mah.
