Ok, none of that worked.
I cant use the Android one because it wont install, because Marketplace is one stingy bitch and every other app simple refuses to install and its not because of low disk space.
When I type "flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img", It just gives me an error about how no such file exists, no matter how many times I carefully type it. The instructions seem pretty simple enough and its not like im a total moron when it comes to this sort of thing, didnt have much trouble getting my HTC phone rooted with CW installed, but even the Rom Manager instructions dont work.
Instructions:
1)Make sure you have all the requirements.
2)Open ROM Manager and go to options.
2)Select Manual Flash Override.
3)In Confirm Phone Model select: Spice MI700, Commtiva Link N700 and more
4)In Confirm Version select: ClockworkMod 3.x
Got the right flash_image file, got the right recovery.img file. Was able to install Rom Manager, selected Manual Flash Override, but it didnt give me the option for MI700 or N700, it actually gave me the correct Viewsonic 7e, which I then select Clockwork Mod 3.x and thats about it.
Not sure if its even going to work, because booting into the recovery bios has never worked (press volume up and down, then power at the same time, hold for x amount of seconds). My current phone has no problems (volume down, power for x amount of seconds), but not this piece of **** tablet.
