months ago on wm 6.5.x I have test the same skype.cab- it works. The FIRST time run it will no log in. close it after try. the all next time log in very quick .........

by my always working 3.0.0.256
but on the HD2 first time mast waiting and waitnig
on the Topaz abaut 5 min.
on the blackstone 5 min.

I`m take alweys backup of the folder skype in the application data and newer waitnig

try it conect via wifi to the network then
log in wrong
to see is the evrything ok
if you get response from Skype network
pasword or the login is wrong
then is nothing wrong with Skype
it is somewhere near you
