Default New to nexus s (roms and kernels)

Just wondering...have a nexuss from att. Rooted and cwm 3 installed. What is the button combo to get into recovery and is it OK to just flash any rom now?

Download rom manager to update you cwm. From rom manager reboot into recovery or turn off you phone, then back on while holding volume + button. You should boot into recovery

Yep. Don't forget to wipe date/ cache and dalvik cache when installing new rom. It beats getting stuck at Google logo trying to figure out why the phone isn't booting.

Personally. I like miui , but there are a lot of good roms. Cyanogen has many features. Many of them are fast. But to me, nothing beats miui in terms of themes and simplicity.

Also im wanting to use ext4 partitioning (lagfix). Is this done automatically or is there some kind of app to use? Ive got the latest recovery. Over in the cappy forums we just went into recovery to enable it. Anyway the question presents itself.
