I'm with the sdk package you extracted to a folder on my desktop when I run adb opens and closes just a black window, then do not like running the flash file recovery fasboot cwm-4.0.1.4-shooteru.img. I need someone to do it step by step slower. From cmd not to put.

Flashing CWM after Revolutionary:

Step 1: Download and extract the Android SDK
Step 2: Download http://downloads.unrevoked.com/recov...4-shooteru.img
Step 3: Transfer the above step file into the tools folder of the extracted SDK in step 1
Step 4: Open a windows command prompt right click and run as administrator
Step 5: cd to the extracted tools directory
Step 6: reboot your phone holding the (power + vol down)
Step 7: Plug in the phone and wait for usb fastboot to appear
Step 8: On the phone type "fasboot flash recovery cwm-4.0.1.4-shooteru.img"
Step 9: Wait for completion after completion you can resume steps 13 - 15 above.

If i had hboot 1.49.0011 and i wanted to hack the phone, i should wait the revolutionary team. Why i must loose the warranty using the script from HTC ?. I think that in the near future they will be able to hack the other HBoot. Ok. Thats only my opinion. I know that everyone wants the best from the phone, but sometimes it is better to wait. If you go back to S-ON on your phone, can you flash any RUU after?

Only original HTC RUU's will be able to be flashed after you go back to s-on.

Yes, however as far as I'm aware the specific terms make anything that could be faulted due to sofware changes non replaceable...

So if you overclocked your phone under this method your CPU would not be replaced based on their ability to choose not to replace it (HTC are reasonable and may still replace it).

Where if you overclocked on an S-Off phone and were able to reset back to S-On via adb writeflag your phone would show no evidence of custom software after you flash back your original RUU. (Full Replacement Warranty).
