Does anybody still experience the call answer delay with the official version ?

No, no problem here...

I am really not happy with 1.10.28. My WIFI keeps on dropping the connection from the home router and the battery dries up pretty quickly probably because of that. 1.10.14 and 21 were fine.

With 1.10.28 from miui.us, my softkeys are always on.

It is hard to configure them to turn off...

Or make them automatic

There's an issue I think caused by all modifications with the lockscreen :
I use a custom lockscreen with a fading effect on the background as you slide the unlocker to its endpoint.
Since the latest version, when I release the unlocker, the background comes back visible before fading again...
Haha that's no big deal but I that effect is so cool, too bad this little glitch spoils it !

Is it possible to map the search key of my HTC Desire S, not to start the MIUI Search but the installed Google Search. And how can I start my Youtube app by clicking a link in the MIUI browser. If I click on a link, the browser always open the youtube website.

For search:

with root explorer go to system/app, mount it read/write, delete "sidekick.apk", install google search, with root explorer go to "data/app", find "com.google.quicksearchbox.apk", rename it to "SideKick.apk" and move it to "system/app". Then reboot your phone.

But as the "recent apps" will be gone as well you will need a replacement for that (I use multitask manager from the market).

Hello guys, I have a strange issue on the 11.4 and previous ROM version.

I can't use any ringtone except system .ogg files. When I choose a file from my music library or download smth (via Zedge music or built-in MIUI ringtone downloader) my phone keeps using a previous system ringtone. Could anybody help please?

I make a call to my MIUI 1.11.4 Desire S (installed with full wipe) - the call is accepted with first ring (by displaing onscreen phone app), but melody starts playing only after second ring. This is "call delay" problem? Or something else?
