Miui refuses to play with my sd card

hi, long time no see huh

I have a problem, my galaxy s cannot detect the external sd card on miui 1.9.2 rom. sometimes it says "sdcard damaged" or "empty sdcard" or "no sdcard inserted" or "sdcard removed insert a new one"

is this a known problem and how can i fix this? its really annoying..

cmon guys, i really need help here.. if i dont fix this i will be forced to change rom wich i really dont want.. someone help?
