Question [Q] Wifi tethering app compatble with the 3DS? or necessary tweaking?

Hello.

First off thank you for reading.

Title pretty much asks the question... "Are there any settings I can tweak to make my 3DS work with this version? or any version? or maybe another Wifi tethering program I can download?"

I can get into specifics. I'm running ACS Frozen v1.2, with Genocide v2.0 Kernel, and I'm running the Wifi Tether program v2.0.7 (I'm not a fan of the packaged version, always seems to mess with my phone, giving me tons of force closes on the core system and swype, v2.0.7 gives me the connection I need to do what I need to do on my netbook, so why upgrade, unless necessary for my 3DS)

Thank you in advance!

I think the 3ds does infrastructure ony and most tether apps only do ad-hoc. Try using open garden tether from the new epic 4g apps section or google epic wifi tether infrastructure

Use WEP (64) security option. This worked with my ds lite

maybe 3ds supports more but the one above is the only tethering that could connect to my DS lite.

LOVE IT!!!!!

Default WiFi Hotspot works with my 3DS

I downloaded the Wifi Hotspot Trial from the Market today, and it seems to work fine with my 3DS connected to my Samsung Charge rooted with GummyCharge FE 2.0. This was after I was unable to get Open Garden or Barnacle to work with the same set up.

I really would like to get Open Garden working with it. I like the software overall. Still, Wifi Hotspot has done me well thus far.
