If this is their idea of better..... I'm not happy. I did notice this becoming worse with 3.2, might be just random, but you know. Anything changed that you know? Also this is interesting, it's the same on the latest Revolver.

It's always been slower than my Galaxy tab, but this is ridiculous.
how long does it take to boot without inserted micro SD-card? when its not much quicker,
try to backup everything you might need and install Prime 1.9.1 with the NVlash-
version. if your tf after two reboots needs more than one minute, i think its something wrong with your tf.
einfach kann jeder!

Nope, and didn't expect it to be any faster. 7 minutes.

I'll try that, however... so far, only horrible news: looks like both the hardware and software is ok! After a backup and total erase of my data from /sdcard/ it started in 2:45 minutes. Notice I didn't factory reset, just deleted the data I had stored, so all the apps are still there. Now onto an NVFlash to see if things change or not. If nothing changes it means the 16gb are there just to make the device more expensive, as you aren't supposed to use them! Hopefully I'm wrong. Veeeery wrong.

Been following since my takes a little bit but no where near, to compare my tf 16gig without SD card (which went went stock > prime 1.9 > prime 1.91 no wipes/factory default) takes about 2 mins and 13 seconds.

Size wise, how many apps do you have? 2.5gb here. (Settings-Applications-Storage use).
I think that getting some info about that and boot times would be interesting.....

Logcat's are an extremely useful way to see what is happening during the boot sequence. I've had issues in the past with phones that got caught in debug loops due to rogue apps that I had installed and with a logcat I was able to identify the app in question. Just a thought.

Does anyone know why RDC apps won't work w/ Prime? Splashtop works fine but both Remote Desktop Client and Remote RDP Enterprise install fine but force close every time I try to start them.

Deleted my music/videos so they aren't counted (and to lazy to go over the numbers easier to just put them back later)

I am sitting about 5.9 gigs used and 7.3 gigs free.

If you did the way I said, those are only your apps, and moving multimedia files wasn't needed. Otherwise my numbers change.... I had 930mb free.

Anyway after NVFlash, without even adding a Google account, the startup is less or more 30 seconds. Then I added back all the data (no apps) and again 30 seconds or so. Plug in the MicroSD, the dock and the SD, roughly 30 seconds. Now let's see after all my apps are back.... but I'm guessing that something went wrong in the system settings. Or at least I hope

Edit: restored fully, got back to 2 minutes and half of boot. Not cool, but acceptable.

Where are the wallpaper files? I don't want it to change back to the ROM's wallpaper after every reboot, so I'd like to delete them.

They are part of the Launcher application so you would need to make changes to that to remove them.

What is the need to remove them though? If you set your own wallpaper it should still be there after a reboot.
