Overclocking the xperia Neo?

i was just wondering how some have a neo running 1,7 ghz?
and also how they did that?

I don't really know how it works but you can do that with SetCPU. With this app you can change the speed of your processor but it can be a bit dangerous, I think at 1,7 Ghz you can damage the processor, it can resist higher speeds than 1 Ghz but don't push it to the limit or you'll screw it up!

You need an unlocked bootloader and DoomLord kernel

I tried DooMLoRD kernel and that worked perfectly
You can overclock at 1.9GHz without warm !

i had my bootloaders unlocked but i relocked them,
i think i can just follow the same procedure to unlock them?
and when you have DooMKernel do you have automatically root?
and will that everything work on 2.3.3 and SE software 4.0.A....

Yes that works for the latest stock rom (i've tested). For the root i don't know; i was already rooted when i flashed the kernel.
You don't loose any data

For the bootloader i don't know, try to re-enter the 2 commands with the same unlocking key.

Yes i think its possible.
You need to set only right profile to setcpu.
For me is SmartassV2 and interactiveX profiles very good perfomance.

You can anytime "relock" you bootloader
