my english is not enough... just need help for the first step

Hi,

as i wrote: my english isnt good enough to use the search engine. I just need help for the first step.

Booting into recoverymode for installing Nandroid to save phone and to install data2ext4 ... a little more than basic linux knowlge i have...

so my exct question after my phones informations.

Manufacturer/Model: ZTE v9 ight German BASE Tab Version.

Android Version: 2.2
Baseband: V9B01
Kernel: 2.6.32.9-perf zte-kernel@Zdroid-SMT
Build-Nr.: FRY_EPLUS_V9V1.0.0B03

And my question: How can i install Nandroid- i Cant get it rooted using z4root or Universal androot- it only works for temproot and i also have no glimpse how too boot into the loader... sure, i need an recover.img wich i have to place to the storage- but is that based uppon the phone manufacturer?

I dont want anyone to make my work- i fact i ike to learn it mysef so links to howtoos are as good as full answers. as i said: i just dont know what exactly too search for...

so sorry for that questions wich sury have been answered plenty of times - and thanks for your help (by the way: some letters are missing because my keyboard is dying a damn slow death and i dont have the money for a new one right now )
