the other question - can i UV this kernel and with what software? (for example faux123 is UV only with system tuner, but couldn't UV sebastianFM (this is the best kernel for now but i cant UV and change the freq of the second core ). So i made the juopunut S-OFF i'm here to test bricked kernel )

For light users, like me, standby is amazing as shown below. The Battery Snap screenshot shows that it stayed on 100% for over 15 hours after disconnecting the charger.

Red ------- Charging
Green ----- Fully Charged (connected to charger)
Blue ------- Discharging

Although it drops sharply when turned on it is still very good.

PS - This is normal standby with wifi and bluetooth on - not Airplane mode.

Is juice defender good to use to improve battery life or only interfere with the kernel's work?

You must tell me your kernel settings! What is your governor, i/o, 2D &3D OC or UC, maxscroff, max and min oc/uc, zram on or off, and sleep2wake?

This is what I've been trying to replicate, moving from GB. Now I've been struggling to get at least 15 hours.

Had a random reboot today. I'm 90% sure it was caused by MortPlayer misbehaving with my bluetooth headset, but I'm posting the last_kmsg just in case I'm missing something

Anyone know what this is?:

Running v1.1 for a week now @1512/384/594, deadline/ondemand, low gpu 2d/3d oc and I have nothing bad to report. My phone has never been snappier and battery life is great. Thank you so much!

As I did not make a note of the settings and don't know how to check them, these are from memory. Using Aroma, everything is at default except the following -

3d - low overclock
sweep to wake - off
z ram - on (not sure though)
i/o - bottom option (cfq I think, default in Aroma even though top option has default label)

Charge to 100% and wipe battery stats.


I am using the latest Leedroid supersensational 7.3 rom with sense and have not selected the power saving option in Leedroid tweeks.
My radio is 11.22.3504.07_M with its corrosponding RIL file.
The only battery saver I use is Y5 to automatically turn off wifi when away from home. As I do not have a data plan mobile data is always off so the only synching is done at home over wifi (stocks, weather & market - no email or facebook etc). Bluetooth is always on.

I reguarly use Daily Roads Voyager as a black box recorder when driving my van which uses video and GPS with the screen on while charging. This is a good stress test which this rom/kernal combination copes with well ie. coolest I have achieved so far. The only downside is I can only get 720p video to work as 1080p gives an error. 1080p has worked before with other combinations so I am hopeful this will be resolved in later updates.

I had a problem connecting bluetooth to my parrot hands free yesterday just before 17.00 so tried a reboot but it went to sleep and did not respond to the power button. As I thought the battery was flat I plugged in the charger and the screen lit up so I disconnected the charger. As you can see below the battery level dropped 30% in 10 mins. It has been fine since and I have done another reboot OK.

Hope this helps you but as you can see this is with very light use. Overnight it lost 4% in 12 hours.
