Default [DEAL] Skinomi Tech Skin

I decided to check out a skin to increase the grip on my Touchpad. As I already have the Skinomi TechSkin on my SGSII which I find to be great, that`s a natural choice for my pad.

On clearance at $16.95 for the carbon fibre or wood effect for the Jaguar owners club and $12.95 for the clear. The body cover includes a screen protector also available for $6.95. Shipping to the UK is $5.95 BUT the GET25 code works for 25% off even though it`s on clearance. So for £12.07 shipped I get a full body cover and screen protector. Not bad!
Had my SGSII for about four months and it still looks brand new.

Saw this on FatWallet.com or slickdeals.net (forget which) and jumped on it.
I just paid $12.71US for the carbon fiber full skin and screen protector delivered!

Hell, I paid close to $30 for fully skinning my G-Tablet in woodgrain (looks awesome after 8 months, BTW).

The Touchpad is a little slippy for my taste and I find the HP case flap a little awkward at times but the CF skin adds a nice amount of friction and does protect from small knocks. Dropped my SGSII a couple of times no damage so far, though with the weight of the TP don`t think it would be that effective on to something hard from any great height. How well it forms to fit the curvy back remains to be seen. Still I`ll post feedback when I get it.

Default Don't buy if you want the back completely covered

Anybody considering these - be warned. They decided to cut holes in the back skin to reveal the hideous HP logo for some reason.
Neither their pictures nor descriptions on the website I ordered from showed or mentioned this design change/bad idea anywhere. So basically, what you see is NOT what you get.
Anyway, they are not interested in taking care of a repeat customer so my order was cancelled and a refund issued. That's OK, plenty of other companies standing in line to take my money.

Doesn't the cut out center hole have its own circle that could be placed back into the open area? What site sells a carbon fiber back without the cutout hole?

didn't like how the CF fitment looked so I just got the clear. Besides, my TP is always in the HP case anyways. Just wanted a little extra protection

If it does ... and you did put it back, that would really look like pure crap.

Maybe there's a chance the circle won't remove unless provoked? Just not into the idea of $30 for one of these carbon fiber cutouts, especially if the corners are questionable. I'm more concerned about boxwave or clarivue style anti-glare protectors to make the screen feel different. Personally, I find the HP logo on the back to be fugly, but there doesn't seem to be many options besides the folio cases that don't excite me too much.

Looks like it's mentioned and shown. On the carbon fiber pic, you can see the logo cutout clearly if you're looking for it, and can't see it if you aren't. No dishonesty there.
