O2X GB - no data - ??

I recently installed O2X GB rom..its nice and smooth except for one thing , I cant get data connection , wiffi works great , but when I put wifi off I have no internet connection(yes data is enabeld), I d/l apn and I see the settings are correct I also tried getril to make sure I have the correct ril and baseband,I used the 622 GB baseband and Still no luck? Anybody have any ideas on what Im doing wrong?

you can't use that baseband, it's only for T-mobile G2x CMIIW. you should use antoher baseband m8

Of course it's not for the G2X, their radio versions are nothing like it.

I presume you are able to make voice calls/SMS currently? You don't have 'Unknown' as the baseband version?

I checked my APN's they where on default Fido, I just enabled data when roaming and it worked, I guess thats why I had a r on top of the signal bars, But the question is why deos my cell go on roaming?

ok so after doing a lot off searching and reading , I found a way to get rid of the " r " roaming , on the dialer I enter *#*#4636#*#* - phone setting - scroll down and turn radio off then on , and the r vanishes , only working with CM7 unfortunatly!! I tried it on th new 2.3.4 GB rom and no luck!! any Ideas ?? anyone?? , I noticed that the user " netuser " is on telus and he is using the 2.3.4 GB rom , I wonder if he has the R problem also ?

Just wondering if anyone has found a solution to this? I'm currently on baseband 1035.21 firmware 2.3.4 and using o2x flair on version v20l
