I think i solved the similar problem by using music player, found the mp3 file in song list, long presses it and used the option to set as ringtone

There's another way: go to config -> themes -> edit theme. There you find an option to change the ringtone, change it and your phone will ring normally.

Hey I installed the MIUI ROM and it seems to be great and fast but I keep dropping service.

I get the signal for about 30 seconds then it disappears.
I messed around with 3G, 2G, and 3G preferred data types and it seemed to bring the signal back a couple of times for a few seconds.

I finally gave up and installed CM7 nightly build and my signal and data work fine.

A very weird part is that I picked up "H" which I'm pretty sure is mostly in 4G devices.

My current carrier is AT&T if that helps.

Thank You

H stands for HSDPA, which is basically 3.5G

Remember this roms uses china gsm frequencies.

Use milestone2toolbox to set the proper frequencies for your country.

As for market can´t buy problem. It´s a common problem among roms, try to use the search, Im sure there are lots of fixes.

About new build, wajk didn´t update his rom atm, so 2.4.20 is still the newest update.
