Yup should be just fine. I'm using my thunderbolt charger for bionic and no problems

I'm still using my LG Dare car charger and it works just fine.

The only charger that doesn't work with the Bionic is via USB with pins 2 and 3 covered. Pins 1 and 4 supply voltage and by covering pins 2 and 3 (data pins) my other phones charge fine and then don't attach as a device in Windows.

This...pretty much just make sure the charger from the old phone matches your new one.

Ok great, thanks for the help. I just wasn't sure if the voltage or whatever might be different.

USB style chargers are all the same voltage, some do send a data like signal to the device like BB chargers. I am using my Moto Droid, HTC Inc, BB, and a generic charger to keep my device alive all day.

Now some generic chargers have been known to fry devices. If using generic be careful!

If you have trouble, you might want to make sure you use the original cable with the car adapter. I've tried two different aftermarket usb cables, and my Bionic will charge only with the OEM cable.

I would use a OEM Motorola dc charger as they seem to charge the fastest.
