I saw that SmartLucky added the EGL drivers to his ROM. Here's the problem: the U8160 has a msm7225 chipset, which doesn't have Adreno hardware. On his ROM, you could see clearly from the logcat that it was failing to initialize EGL and falling back to the software renderer.

Any performance increase you were seeing was 100% placebo.

Also with smartlucky i have poor 3d graphic performance . the u8160 have the same cpu of u8150 but with adreno 200 so we need a compatible egl lib .

Wasn't this fixed in smartlucky 2.2? We still have that flashed, haven't had time yet to flash this CM7 mod, but I've never noticed any problems with the soft buttons, and my girlfriend hasn't said anything about it since I flashed it for her a week or so ago.

I should be flashing it tomorrow lunchtime, so I'll try to report back asap if we have the same problem or your flash somehow went wrong.

Yes, there is something about the market

The market enabler does not support my home market, have not tried setting the US market.

I can install apps and the google apps by opening the market on the phone, but not via Browser on my PC. When I first pressed the voice search, it informed me that it is not installed and a popup let me chose which google apps to install. But nothing happened.


Besides that, on the u8180:
- GPS works
- FM-Radio works, but app is suboptimal (bluetooth forced, no autotuning)
- responsivness higher than with stock rom, even after rooting the device and disabling some bloatware

Error status 7...u8150

In this rom some apps arent showing in the market,
when i login into the market on my pc the apps show up but say it isnt compatible with the o2 huawei u8160 but its copatible with the vodafone 858 even though they are the same phone the app wont install on the cm7 u 8160 rom

Gsm arena has some information about the phones specs it says the phone has

• 528 MHz ARM 11 processor
• Adreno 200 GPU
• Qualcomm MSM7225 chipset

If the phone has the same GPU as the san fransisco (ZTE Blade) than why does it run some games so slow (with lag) is there any way to overclock this phone to make it run applications better ?
