[TUT] [lock bootloader] NEW tutorial for root NEO with 2.3.3 4.0.A.368 [VERY EASY]

IS WORKING NOW ! TESTED 13/9

• FIST registrer in http://www.wotanserver.com/en/account/register
• Install phone drivers if not have installed in you computer
• Now download the program (wortan client)http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QM8Q5QE7
• Open wortan client , turn off the mobile and get ready to flash the phone (Batery up to 50% or more):
  1. With phone off and unplugged, keep it down the back key and plug USB ,now the wortan client detect conection
  2. Select the firmware to flash ; LANGUAGE GERMAN and VERSIÓN GENERIC TRADE GERMANY (2.3.2) (IMPORTANTE), press NEXT(! view IMAGE )
  3. Login with email y pass and press NEXT.
  4. WAIT to end flash , unplug ,turn on the mobile.
  
• Go to a settings > aplications > unknown applications ON AND development > USB debugging ON .(! UNPLUG THE USB)
• Go to MARKET and download a file gestor (ES EXPLORER, for sample ) ( If not connect config the wifi / APN *)and open the GINGERBREAK 1.20 , wait to 1min -10 min.
• UPDATE OTA (SETTINGS > AABOUT PHONE > SOFTWARE UPDATE ) ! AND GO TO 368 ROOTED ;)
• Can you change language in SETTINGS > language

is free?
====While WOTANSERVER servers are FREE not require payment.

Why German version?
==== This german version not blocked for ota update without pc, if you use the 181.global.generic , update say : use a pc for update.... > (loose root )

Not detect the phone
==== Reinstall SEUS or PC COMANION drivers

NO internet connects me to update OTA / MARKET
==== Look WIFI / APN configuration

NOT updated by the OTA me and asks me to update with PC ....
==== bad thing, the reason is that Sony has locked rom upgrade from that we have, which is recommended to try another rom of the generic trade 2.3.2.

Errors while the file downloads / flashes
==== Most likely, your connection or your pc is bad , pc changes in principle works.

I can remove the applications installed?
==== The GINGERBREAK YES , SUPERUSER NO. The first has completed its mission but the second is the need to manage the applications you have access to root.

What do you recommend for applications to start customizing my phone and remove unnecessary applications?

German firmware is not blocked for update ota without pc.

181_generic and 181_uk is blocked for update OTA , error say ;

update with pc comanion.....

Does anyone have 3.0.A.2.181 German firmware ftf file for download? I'll going to try with flashtool

wich backup program are you using in the movie ?

Confirm that English + Generic UK firmware worked (few days ago)

Confirm that the process works. My phone was MT15a with 2.3.3. (3.0.*.145) - now MT15i 2.3.3 (4.0.*.368).

Followed NeoJeo's video tuto I tried *.182 for MT15a when downgrading to 2.3.2, but latter no OTA possible to upgrade to 2.3.3. Got to redo with German - Generic Trade Germany (*.181) as it was said in the 1st post.
Now with *.368 and the phone said it is MT15i
HSDPA 2100MHz works OK, don't know about other bands as not available here.

So does it mean that MT15a can be converted into MT15i by reflashing?
Or it si OK just because both MT15a and MT15i have 2100 band?
