Default [Q] Student Rate and Amazon deal...

Anyone gone through StudentRate.com?

Going through StudentRate.com, which then links you to Amazon Wireless, the phone can be had for $149.99 (which isn't great) but what IS great is that you get 23% off your monthly bill. I'm wavering here, not sure if I should keep my Letstalk order or not. Overtime the StudentRate deal is definitely cheaper.

i was thinking the same thing. i currently get 15% off, but the 23% off would save me about $10 or so a month more. I just wasnt so sure on how that site worked.

I cancelled my letstalk.com order and went through student rate. I called them and they told me it was 23% off. You just need to email them some info about the order and your account. They told me it would take a couple of billing cycles for it to show up.

How long ago did you cancel your LetsTalk order?

I'm not sure. I've seen Google results where people say you can. Do you have a .edu email address?

I just cancelled Letstalk and went with Wirefly through StudentRate (same deal as their Amazon one 23% off monthly bill) and haggled for about 40mins over their online chat to get them to give me free saturday delivery.

I was told that the 23% discount from SR is hard to get (usually 15%). I don't know what the current rate is now for my school. I was going to order from them but then I went to my Sprint store and the manager offered me something I couldn't refuse:

20% off per month, $25 off on every phone, 20% accessories, and then stack with the port credit of $125 per smart phone; that's killer.

Wow, new customers are definitely valuable to Sprint. I don't think they would have given a current customer such a deal.
