uninstall the player
or make it not keep your device awake if there is a way to tweak it.

So let me get this straight; smartass v.2 has a 100Mhz while screen off and also the deep sleep policy is working as well? Asking this 'coz I did try couple of other kernels and never able to wake the damn phone up from sleep while under conservative governor with 200Mhz @875mA
If you think its stable than I'd give it a try...

Okey I had to raise 100 and 200 to 850mV to get stable Lower would make it not wake up sometimes.

Can we get a test kernel with:

- 125Mhz or 150Mhz lowest step
- Keep 100MHz but remove 200

I'm curious if this is somehow a limit of the power regulation chip and not the CPU. Having 200 stable at 825mV but in conjunction with 100MHz both needing 850mV kind of removes any power savings benefits 100MHz might have brought.

Andrei, since you already have it installed, do you mind running a stress test at your current settings. Although not all CPU's are identical it will still help us (me) to get a better idea

Stress test won't be able to single out the problem here. I can block the frequency at 100MHz and 800mV and run stress test like a snail and it works just fine. Same for 200MHz. But the problem is when the phone is switching out of deep sleep and switching between the two speeds when awake where it all goes to hell and needs higher voltages to keep stable.

I'm switching back to 200@825 as min for the moment. I'm busy monitoring the phone and looking out for events/0 and suspend with the new KI1 modem as it seems the Android OS bug is fixed. Testing the frequencies is crashing the phone too often

If you're curious about the rest it's: 200@825, 500@875, 800@975, 1000@1075, 1200@1200

My concern is the same thing as you. The 100Mhz gov. combined with deep sleep policy makes the phone unresponsive. Furthermore the worst part is you don't even notice until you need to call or do something else with the phone 'coz calls go thru without notification or showing up in the log after hard restart

Will give it a try with as soon as going back to stock rom.

Thx anyway bro, appreciated

if you want to save more you may choose conservative for both.

100mhz & 200mhz, it's no big difference of battery use.

just 2% for 12hour....
