If you use your device too much the difference will be more. Deep sleep consumptions are more our less the same I think.

no, not yet. I'm testing it by myself as I noticed that people tend to give negative feedback on beta versions instead of giving just feedback to make the kernel better

Well, basically, overclocking can damage any device, so use it with caution. (Tip: undervolting)
Take a look here: http://www.setcpu.com/

Default 1.5 with litening 6.1

I'm experiencing the same bug than other with litening 6.1, after long period in sleep mode, the telephone seems to use cpu a lot, the phone and the screen becomes really hot. I had to remove my battery to boot it again(will try the long middle press button if it happens again). After the crash, the battery was really drained.

In batterystats I couldn't see the process which causes this overfheating, it seems that between reboots information are not kept it has been reseted.

But according to android battery stats, I have the feeling that this battery drain is not caused by a process, but by the crash itself, because the graph of the battery level is really discontinued, it went directly from 85% to 55%. maybe my phone was in this state 30minutes.

Not sure if it's related to Litening rom, but in Setcpu(2.2.4) my minimal cpu frequency is 200mhz and not 100mhz. I'm using actually 1.5rc will try the last 1.5 stable.

I'm running this kernel since couple days, and with smartass 100-1400 for both awake and sleep I get really, really good battery life and performance.
When checking the used frequency states at the end of the day (with CPU spy) I can see that deep sleep and 100 are by far the most used states. Which is good. And I actually use the phone. 3G, Mail sync, browsing, calling, music, etc.

Since frequency is square to undervolting in terms of power consumption, I can clearly see the benefit of this fantastic kernel.

Thank you!

Thank you for the encouraging feedback.

+1 for your statement about freq vs undervolting in terms of battery life. You will get way more juice if you use 100mhz with stock voltage rather than using 200mhz undervolted.
