[Q] Installing Intel Matrix Storage Manager

Hey guys, have any of you manage to install Intel Matrix Storage Manager? Everytime I try to install it it says my computer does not meet the minimum requirements. Without it I can't switch from IDE to AHCI for my SSD...

Can't you normally do this directly in the BIOS?

I'm not talking about changing to AHCI mode...I'm talking about installing Intel Matrix Storage Manager...

If I change it to AHCI mode it will give me a blue screen when booting up. This is expected...

ive not has success with this....had to redo from scratch ...guess will have to wait for new drivers from intel....i have the Mobile Intel 5 chipset...but everything working ok with my ssd and HDD

Browse to :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\IastorV

Change "start" to "1" then restart. I personally started from scratch before I found this solution. For people in need, please try it and see if it works...it really should.
