Default Evo Gift

I am giving my niece my EvoOG and right now I am using MikG 4.5. Do you guys think I should flash to stock for her or give her a fresh install of any particular Rom?

If she's a iPhone fan hand it over with MIUI. If not I would just hand it over with a rooted stock rom. It has all the baby widgets/apps for rookie users and stuff.

She's an avid crackberry fan. I kind of wanted to get her out of the crack state of mind.

I'd have to agree with this - it's a good stepping stone from crackberry to Android. It's easier and more user friendly than a lot of the others.

I may be mistaken, but I am pretty sure the ROM has to have a functioning version of EPST in order to activate. Sprint will re-provision the phone to her account. Once thats done and its activated you can do whatever you please. Might load a rooted stock ROM like that Swagged Out stock.

I figure I'll load that for my daughter when I upgrade in the next few weeks. If she wants something more custom, I'll load something up for her later.

Thank you all for all the great suggestions. I ended up giving my niece my girl's epic 4g and I gave my girl my evo 4g. I just did a fresh install of the latest MikG rom. The Epic 4g I put the SRF 1.2 which uses Launcher Pro as the launcher. My niece can figure out all the ends and outs of Launcher Pro if she really wanted too.
