Default Lag when unlocking Thrill 3D

I am brand new to the XDA forums, so please forgive me if this has been covered. I bought a thrill 3d and I flashed with the thriller rom (awesome by the way) but the issue I am having is the lag when unlocking the phone. Is there a way i can get that resolved? Would a future ROM fix that issue or is that hardware? I have used the ADW launcher themer software, but have gone back to the default thriller UI, due to the battery use for the "Android System" going from 58% to 74% while using it. (man I hope that make sense)

Anyway, any help would be useful.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry to resurrect this old thread, I'm just interested to see other users input..

On average it takes my Thrill 1.5-1.6 seconds to "wake up" from idle with the black screen to the fully lit unlock screen. My phone is totally stock with no mods.

Is this average for other users, or is it possible there are some "slow" Thrills out there?

Thanks

That's normal, its a feature of Android phones called Deep Sleep that puts the phone in a low power consumption (aka lower clock speed) mode when the phone has been active for a significant amount of time. Turning this off will cause the battery to die REALLY fast.
