[Q] Icons on top of widgets

I'm using minimalistic text to create some widgets. For the one I'm using ( found it on their wiki) it only works if I select 1x3; however, it realistically only takes up 1x2. If I select 1x2 it's missing half the info it's supposed to have.

I'm wondering if there's a way to place an icon for an app on top of the widget in this empty square that isn't being used? Is there anything that would allow something like that

There is a launcher I don't remember which one that allows overlapping

If I remember correctly, I am using LP+ and I have overlapped icons on my last phone.
