I reloaded the stock kernel and unrooted. Went through rooting again and still getting the same message. I also noticed that I don't have the full CWM menu on it when I boot into recovery.

need some help here, recently rooted my Sprint GS2 or Epic 4G, whichever its called, tried to install CWM using ODIN, now I am stuck at the screen boot with the "!". any help on trying to solve this problem. any advice would be great before I pull my hair out lol

thanks to the fellas here at xda (big thumds up to crawrj!!), problem resolved!!

Ok, used the ALL WORKING kernel and now WIFI doesnt work. Turns on for a second and then off right away. I think this kernel had working WIFI?

Solutions?

just rooted using the method/kernel on the first page, everything went fine, but I don't have Wifi. Turns on for a few seconds, then turns off... any ideas?

Pretty much these are no longer ideal, you should just live by anything SFHUB and find any of his rooted/ODIN threads if you plan on rooting
