sometimes text on CWM recovery doesn't appear

solution

just press home button to reboot, press back button after led flash to enter CWM recovery

actually, cwm rec doesn't hang, but only text doesn't appear, because when U press home button cwm rec go to reboot

Ultra Brightness set at boot?

I did not found a solution for that and hope somebody else has got one:
I use Ultra Brightness (CM-Settings->Display) as default. But after every reboot the phone does not regognize the (still active) setting. I have to uncheck and check the checkbox to get the setting to be active again. Is there any possibility to set this via boot config?
I found a hint to do this with cpu settings in /etc/hw_config.sh. Maybe this is the place for the ultra brightness config too? If so, which values have to be configured?

updated to kernel 13 with ease...the following day, phone boots randomly...do i need to wipe and reinstall the rom? thanks!

Camera FC

Hi All,

I've been active in trying all of the MiniCM7 versions with the corresponding NAA kernels (I've also tried the latest MiniCM7-2.2.1 with NAA ver 13K) but it seems that the MiniCM7-ver 2.1.5 with NAA-06 kernel is the only one that did not have a camera FC issue. I would love to have my x10 mini with the latest version but my only problem is the camera FC's. I've already exerted all my effort in looking for the camera fix but to no avail I can't find none. Anyone can help me? A big thanks to NAA for this great ROM.

did you tried the following? :

1. backup current state (in case of, not to be use for data restore after update!!!! needs fresh install, no junk)
2. wipe data/factory reset
3. wipe cache
4. advanced > wipe dalvik cache
5. mount and storage > format /system
6. backup sdcard,format sdcard, paste rom+gapps and only things you need (not the android related folders)
7. install rom
8. install gapps
9. reboot
10. do not restore anything; no titanium or anything
11. enjoy

if no improvements, restore backup, and flash old kernel

Hardware keyboard layout help needed

Have succefully rooted,unlocked and installed kernal U20_nAa-13_2.6.29.6-nAa-13
and MiniCM7 2.2.1 for my Swedish Xperia x10 mini pro.

The only thing that isnt working proberly is the hardware keyboard that seems to be set on English though i have set Swedish on the keyboard settings ( i have åäö on the software/onscreen keyboard ).

ex. bellow:

Symbol button doesnt work at all.

Is this an error or is only english supported on the hardware keyboard ?

Just create a swap partition. It will be automatically recognized and used after reboot.

try redownload MiniCM zip

and i find some useful info
i use supercharger and the script tweak my sd card cache size to 1024
and no music hiccup
but in CM setting for sd card cache size still in 128
maybe if we change system without using CM setting, our cache size for sd card can be tweaked without music hiccups
need more some tester btw
and correct me if I'm wrong btw

nb: also script tweak my dalvik cache size to 36 and CM setting recognized it at 48

EDIT : already tested for read ahead kb, no luck, since i use supercharger and still 128 not 1024 for sd card cache

EDIT 2 : after reapply supercharger, my sdcard tweak change from 128 to 1024
the change is
sys/block/mmcblk0/queue/read_ahead_kb
and
/sys/devices/virtual/bdi/179:0/read_ahead_kb

just open via root explorer and change value what do U want, i use 1024 from supercharger script
and for me, no music hiccup by using this tweak
